Large color image stacks may consume more memory than available, permissible, or desired. In particular, 32 bit OS has limitations for large color images. One method for reducing memory consumption is to process each color individually to create color masters then combine the three color masters. This can be done manually or use the Utility to automatically split a single color stack into a 4 step (stack) Job:
· Stack 1 – Red: Input red filtered images to create a Red master. If Bayer or Color input, then only extract Red using the color directives.
· Stack 2 – Green: Input red filtered images to create a Red master. If Bayer or Color input, then only extract Green using the color directives.
· Stack 3 – Blue: Input red filtered images to create a Red master. If Bayer or Color input, then only extract Blue using the color directives.
· Stack 4 Color: Input the three color master files created above, assign each master to its respective color. Do not use data normalization or rejection.
